Mx. Asher (they/them) is a spoken word artist known for vulnerable storytelling exploring themes of community, current events, love, and power. Asher’s work reconciles their lived experience as a transgender sexual assault survivor and former sex worker with their political career. Voted Motif's 2026 Favorite Personal Storyteller, they recently released a chapbook exploring love as someone with CPTSD. Their poetry has found homes in Writers Resist, Discretionary Love, Unlikely Stories, Waffle Fried, and more.
