The Wellspring Circle is how readers fund everything around it: paying poets, corporate gifts to local literary organizations, & a poetry community that can afford to keep writing & performing.

THE MODEL
Grants have limits. Algorithms shift. Independent media needs something sturdier: a community that chips in, out in the open. The Wellspring Circle is transparent collective patronage (20% of membership revenue goes straight back to the local literary scene).

Will the newsletter stay free?
Nothing changes. You will continue to receive our curated bi-monthly editions, access to the poetry event calendar, & open invitations to Poetry Book Club & other free TPP pop-up events throughout the year.
How does the 20% giving pledge work?
TPP currently operates as an independent media business. At the end of every quarter, 20% of membership revenue will be donated directly from TPP as a corporate gift to each quarter's designated beneficiary.
When are member perks delivered?
Pourtender care packages are fulfilled and shipped quarterly (starting Q1 of 2027) in partnership with Aspiration Press & other local business partners. Poetry Pal Salons happen once per quarter (virtual to start, then hosted in-person starting Q1 2027).
Why choose quarterly or annual?
Every cadence gets the same perks. Quarterly and annual members opt to pay upfront rather than monthly, but the longer term commitments provide sustainable support that lets us plan (and pay poets) further ahead.
